An Introduction to Gardening the Biodynamic Way
Workshop
Sunday 20th May 2018
2pm - 5pm
With Dr Sue Peat and Philip Martyn
Biodynamics takes into account the natural rhythms of the cosmos and how plants respond to these. The workshop will cover use of the biodynamic planting calendar, composting and the BD preparations. We spend the last hour stirring the horn manure preparation (known as 500), so bring a 500 ml bottle if you would like to take some home for your garden. The workshop is suitable for those new to biodynamics and anyone wanting a refresher and some 500 to take home.
Philip Martyn and Dr Sue Peat are long term students of Rudolf Steiner. Philip is a retired lawyer and previous co-general secretary of the Anthroposophical Society. Sue is a medical consultant at Kings College Hospital, with a specialist interest in pain relief and medical education.
£10 / £5 All welcome, no need to book.
