Past and future are not just abstract ideas for a great poet-artist like Blake. We look to our own origins and our own potential. Blake and Steiner are very different in temperament, but they come together in their project of awakening the human to the world we inherit and help to recreate for the future. The sleeping giant stirs, and may even get a scientific definition!
Andrew Welburn has been an academic in the fields of English Literature and biblical interpretation and history. A life-long anthroposophist, he has written several books on Steiner’s philosophy, esotericism and Christianity, and on the prophet Zarathustra.
