The Soul’s Probation affords us an insight into the process of reincarnation and karma by showing us how the characters Johannes, Maria and Capesius view a previous incarnation;
it portrays the sinister encounter with the double; it illustrates the working of the different aspects of the soul, portrays the twelve different viewpoints and much more which could
only be gleaned through the study of Rudolf Steiner’s many lectures.

Trevor Dance is a lecturer, working with Hammersmith & Fulham Adult Education Service. He has given talks and written articles on art and artists.
